Frequently Asked Questions…

How long does shipping normally take?

We will try and dispatch your order next day, with shipping usually taking 2 to 3 days, but if you’re in a hurry, give us a call – we’ll do our best to help! We’ll always try and get local deliveries out to you before the weekend.

Are Lacons Beers available in my country?

Currently, we only offer domestic shipping through the web-shop, however, a world-wide take over is in our plan so if you’re from outside the UK give us a call and we’ll do our best to ship to you.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs will be quoted when you add your delivery postcode in the basket.  We will deliver ourselves locally for £5.95, but areas outside of our reach will be delivered to you by courier, starting at £6.50.  If you want to avoid all shipping costs, come and see us by choosing the collection option.

What happens if i'm not at home when my beers arrive?

We ask that you give us delivery instructions such as a safe place or trusted neighbour for if you are not home, but if we are unable to deliver either us or our selected couriers will be in touch to arrange re-delivery.

Can I collect from the Brewery?

Yes, you can, and also from our depot in Lowestoft (addresses can be found in the Contact us link), but you need to pre-order first, so complete your purchase selecting the Collection option and we’ll have your order ready and waiting for at your selected collection address within 2 working days.  If you need beer in a hurry, give us a call!

When can I collect?

Our Lowestoft Depot is open for collections from 10am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 12noon on a Saturday.

The Great Yarmouth Brewery is open for collections from 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday (cut the brewers some slack on this, they start at 6am!).

Can I take a tour of the Brewery?

We’d love to see you, but we can’t right now, we’re all secured up due to COVID-19 restrictions, but you can take a virtual tour of our Brewery Museum and shop by visiting the ‘History’ page.

What will my beer taste like?

Take a look at the products pages in the shop for tasting notes – but ‘delicious’ is the easiest answer, just ask our beer community!
